About

From QBasic at eight to products used by thousands.

A journey from discovering computers to building tools that empower developers worldwide.

The story

My story

I discovered my love for computers at age 8, starting with QBasic and early programming experiments. That curiosity never left me. It grew into a passion for building tools that make developers' lives better.

In 2013, I co-founded GeekyAnts as a freelancer. Over the next decade, we scaled it into a global design and development powerhouse with 400 to 500 people. Open-source contributions like NativeBase transformed us from a web shop to a mobile-plus-web company and built our reputation in the React Native community.

My main focus today is RapidNative, which I'm building at my new company Shaper Studio Inc. It's a prototyping tool for mobile apps designed for builders, founders, and UX designers.

On the side, I keep building in the open. I recently shipped Lifo, an ultra-fast Linux-like OS in the browser for agents and humans, and reactnative.run, the fastest way to run React Native and Expo apps in the browser. I'm also writing Junior2Senior.dev, a first-principles playbook helping developers accelerate from junior to senior faster in the AI era. I continue to support GeekyAnts as a board member and evangelist while my co-founder Pratik leads as CEO.

Beyond products, I'm passionate about community. We run one of the largest React Native meetups with 8,000+ members, exploring AI for code generation, and living as a digital nomad in a self-designed off-grid caravan.
